This is a vintage picture from Paragon called Andersons Dock. It is done on blue fabric and has a pretty boathouse scene. Since 1900 vacationers have been flocking to the scenic Door County peninsula of Wisconsin, also known as "cherryland" or "the thumb". On lovely Green Bay, in the picturesque hillside village of Ephraim, stands this famous landmark. Built around1852, it served originally as a warehouse for Anderson's general store, and later for holding the cherry crop while awaiting boats to take them to faraway markets. The building is completely carved and painted with names of those who have dockedhere, and today still leads an active life as an art gallery for shows, classes and lectures. It was designed by Don and Carol Henning. It is designed to fit a 19 x 25 frame. Kit is not in original package but is in excellent condtion, and includes cotton homespun fabric with design printed on it, colored yarns, complet instructions for stretching, embroidering, and framing, full color print of picture, and detailed color and stitch diagrams. The needle is missing.
